A Brief History of Carron

Carron has been a settled rural area for centuries, shaped by farming, estate management and local crafts. Like many Moray communities, its history reflects changes in agriculture, land ownership and rural life over time.

The community has traditionally been centred around shared spaces and cooperation, values that continue today through the community hall, local events, and voluntary groups.
