Carron Community Hall Council is seeking a volunteer to take on the role of Chairperson following the recent resignation of our previous Chair.
The committee would like to place on record its sincere thanks to Stuart for his significant contribution to the hall. During his time as Chair, substantial improvements were delivered, including major building maintenance works, improvements to the hall's facilities and a continued focus on maintaining a clean, welcoming and well-managed community facility.
The hall is now entering an exciting new phase. Recent and ongoing projects include:
-
Replacement of the main hall roof
-
Electrical upgrades throughout the building
-
Installation of new entrance doors
-
Planned replacement of the heating system
-
Future refurbishment and improvement projects
To continue this progress, the committee is looking for a Chairperson who can help coordinate meetings, support the work of the committee and represent the interests of the hall and the wider community.
No specialist experience is required. The committee is made up of local volunteers who work together to manage the hall and make decisions collectively. The role primarily involves chairing meetings and helping ensure that the committee continues to operate effectively.
Committee meetings are generally held monthly and the time commitment is modest.
Anyone interested in discussing the role informally is encouraged to contact the committee.
Carron Community Hall belongs to the community, and we would welcome anyone who would like to help shape its future.
For further information, please contact the committee via email at [email protected] or speak to any current committee member.
